Mountain Lodge at Telluride partners with Further Adventures
Come summer, the world-class ski slopes of Telluride, Colorado turn verdant green. Winter's runoff unveils a new kind of playground for Telluride vacations and activities. Visitors from all over the world who come looking to hike, bike, walk, climb, raft, fish and just relax in the stunning box canyon of southwest Colorado will find it just a bit more easier to do at Mountain Lodge at Telluride.
New for the Summer Season 2010, the resort is partnering with Telluride's Further Adventures to offer guided white-water rafting, fly fishing, hiking and mountain biking adventures to guests. The company, which develops and leads custom-designed guided outdoor adventures, will take Mountain Lodge at Telluride guests hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting or fly fishing through the local mountains.
Experienced guides lead participants on half-day, full-day and multi-day trips, according to Penelope Gleason, owner of Further Adventures. "We make sure every guest is safe, comfortable and well-fed on each trip," she says, "while remaining environmentally conscious of every outing's impact."
"Further Adventures is an excellent fit for Mountain Lodge at Telluride," says Neil Hastings, director of sales and marketing for the resort. "We choose partners carefully to make sure we can create a full slate of quality programs that meet our guests' needs. With Further Adventures, we can literally go a step further to ensure that every guest can access exactly the kind of Telluride experience they are seeking."
