The Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is the primary airport for Telluride, and is a scenic 65 miles away. During the winter months, guests can take advantage of nonstop flights from 10 major hubs, and summer offers nonstop service from 5 major U.S. cities. Several transportation companies provide service from Telluride to Montrose. Rental cars are also available at the Montrose Airport, but we recommend the ground transportation option as once you arrive in Telluride a car is unnecessary. New to the destination is Southwest Airlines, running daily direct flights from Denver (DEN) to Montrose (MTJ) year-round. Flights from Dallas (DFW) to Montrose (MTJ) will be available on Southwest on Saturday and Sunday from June 12–September 5. Jet service to the Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) is available on Denver Air Connection. Denver Air Connection partners with United Airlines, which enables travelers to book and connect through the global United network. The Telluride Airport is also open to general aviation, including charter and private planes. All major charter companies serve the airport, and links to several options are available here. Yes, our property is located between Telluride Ski Resort's green level ski runs, Double Cabins and Village Bypass. We are considered a proper ski-in/ski-out lodging resort in Telluride.

What Is The Easiest Way To Get Around The Town Of Telluride And Town Of Mountain Village?

There is a free gondola system that operates between the Town of Mountain Village and Telluride. Regular gondola hours are 6:30 a.m. to midnight (with extended hours until 2 a.m. on certain weekends) during the winter and summer seasons.

Free shuttles run throughout Mountain Village every half hour between 7 a.m. and midnight during summer and winter. For more information visit the Town of Mountain Village website - www.townofmountainvillage.com.
In Telluride, the free Galloping Goose shuttle buses run every 20 minutes between 7 a.m. and midnight daily. Stops are located every few blocks.

The Village Market grocery store and the Spirits liquor store, neighboring the Mountain Lodge Telluride, are located a short walk (or shuttle ride) from our resort property in Mountain Village’s Market Plaza. The market is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the liquor store from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. There are additional grocers and liquors located in the Town of Telluride, with information available by Telluride Tourism Board.

The hours are seasonal (summer & winter) and go from 7am – 12am (midnight) daily. The gondola is closed during shoulder seasons October 16th – November 24th and April 3rd – May 24th 2023.

We welcome guests arriving by motorcycle and want to ensure a smooth parking experience. Please note the following guidelines:

Motorcycles should be parked in designated parking spots, just like any other vehicle.
A $35 charge will apply for parking in a designated space. To reduce costs, guests are encouraged to share parking spots by placing two motorcycles in a single space.
